That window is a duplicate of the one used by Robert Adam, a famed English architect from the late 18th Century. The library is paneled in the same detail as the original look from the Bordley-Randall house in Annapolis. The main stairway came from the first building used by Johns Hopkins University. The floors throughout the home are from the first theater built in Baltimore circa 1745. Throughout the house, the locks, with only a few exceptions, are original Colonial hardware. Each chair rail is different, all copied from notable Colonial homes. The listed square footage does not include the basement which features wine cellar, club room, workshop and the piece de resistance, a squash court, currently being used as an indoor golf training room.
